with 170 years of history.

My father made alcohol with a neat heart on New Year's Day. In summer, wheat was harvested to make alcohol, and the coarsely ground open wheat was used to beat yeast. Japanese colonial era, to avoid the house-to-house smuggling crackdown, he hid it in the back of the closet, made a medicinal liquor with yeast and Godubap, and distilled the medicinal liquor to make a drop of soju.

My mother also told me this. The great-grandfather, who was growing ginseng in Seongsu, Imsil, Jeollabuk-do, steamed and dried ginseng repeatedly to make rare red ginseng. It is said that the red ginseng was cut into small pieces and made red ginseng soju with soju from home, served to precious customers who came to the house, and used it for family events.

More than 170 years later, following the reputation of Hong Sam-ju, who has been handed down from generation to generation, his son has established Taepyeong Stock Company and is making a sincere Hong Sam-ju, which is comparable to anywhere he puts it out.
